SENIOR PASTOR

Rev. Dr. Michael Okwakol, Senior Pastor. Also President of the Baptist Union of Uganda holds Bachelor of Arts Biblical Studies and Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Pastor Michael is married to Cossy and they have 5 children; Martha, Rosemary, Lillian, Winnie and Isaac. And the have 2 grandchildren; Nigel Eric and Kailey Catherine.

Pastor’s Personal Life’s Goal.

Not considering my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly to the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24), by faith accept God’s calling to Agape Baptist Church as Senior Pastor.

The Pastor’s Personal Mission.

To provide the needed godly and spiritual leadership to lead Agape Baptist Church to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in exalting Christ in meaningful worship and behavior, in equipping the Saints for the work of ministry, and in reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Pastor’s Personal Vision.

With the help of the Holy Spirit to see Agape Baptist Church be a church with a ministry to man and on mission with God.
